Portmeirion Italian Village

NEW: Created by Welsh architect Clough Williams-Ellis from 1925 to 1976, in an Italian, Mediterranean style Portmeirion is now one of the premier tourist destinations in North Wales. As well as the fascinating architecture there are wonderful views of the river estuary plus shops and restaurants to enjoy.
We will have a scenic journey through Wales travelling via part of the Snowdonia National Park and should arrive in Portmeirion around midday, we will then have 4 hours to explore the village before enjoying more fabulous scenery on our homeward journey.

Buckingham Palace with Guided Gardens Tour

NEW: This year our visit to Buckingham Palace will be enhanced by a guided garden tour following your visit to the Staterooms. Your Highlight Garden Tour will commence 2 hours and 30 minutes after your timed entry into the Palace and will last approximately 45 minutes.
We have entry tickets booked for 13:15 and we have a maximum of 30 tickets so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Down Inn Carvery and Much Wenlock

NEW: For our summertime visit to the Down Inn and their delicious 2-course carvery meal we will first make a stop in the beautiful medieval town of Much Wenlock. The coach drop-off point is a short walk from the town centre which has a true medieval feel and you will find historic buildings including the Guildhall and Holy Trinity Church. You can also discover how Much Wenlock inspired the modern Olympics. From here we travel the short distance to the Down Inn for our afternoon carvery meal.
Greenwich

NEW: We travel to Greenwich overlooking the River Thames on the outskirts of London where the coach will drop off on the coach bays on Carlton Way at the top of Greenwich Park near Blackheath Gate. From here visitors can walk down through the park to Greenwich where you will find the huge National Maritime Museum, the Cutty Sark and other attractions including the indoor Greenwich Market which was established in 1737. Walking down through the park there are excellent views of the River and the City beyond plus here you will find the Greenwich Observatory and the Prime Meridian. There are numerous eating places both in the park and in Greenwich itself.
Please note our price is for coach travel only, no entrance fees are included. Our ETA is 12 midday and our departure time will be 5pm.
Ironbridge Museums

Windsor and River Thames Boat Trip

We head to Runnymede where we board the 11:00 boat for a 1 ½ hour river cruise to Windsor. You then have just over 3 hours in Windsor before catching the return boat at 16:00. Arriving back in Runnymede at 17:30 and rejoining the coach for our journey home.
