About Us

At Meridian Travel, our journey began over 26 years ago when we, Steve and Lorraine met on a coach tour of the West Highlands. Their journey started with a simple promise and a shared love for travel. Lorraine, with a craving to see every nook of Europe, found her partner in Steve, An experienced coach driver with a keen passion for the road. Since then, Lorraine and Steve have organised and operated hundreds of coach holidays, ranging from Weekend Breaks to Grand Tours across the UK and Europe.

Our Story

We are partners both in life and business and have now covered over a million miles across the UK and over 20 different countries in Europe. 

 

Meridian Travel started in the last couple of years of the 20th century, quickly gaining a reputation for providing a personal touch. Our approach revolves around quality coach travel and well-selected standard hotels, ensuring a memorable experience for every traveler.

With very few exceptions over the years, Steve has been the tour driver, guilding you through places of interest and historical facts and quiaey anecdotes with Lorraine taking on the role of tour manager, handling everything from liaising with hotels to checking room lists, arranging meal times serving up around 40,000 hot drinks.
